Redefining Economy for Community and Environment in Hemsedal

The project explores transitioning Hemsedal's economy from a degenerative, vulnerable, and linear model to a more regenerative, resilient, and circular one. This shift aims to rejuvenate the community and ecology, build resilience against systemic shocks, and enhance the circularity of materials and waste.
It resulted in creating an intervention setting a new strategic direction for transitioning the power dynamic system in Hemsedal and illustrates how locals and the commune can collaborate to develop alternative approaches to tourism activities and discover diverse income sources for community growth.
